Soon Marissa realizes as a woman she has no rights in this century, and must rely on her knowledge of Arizona history and Steven's help to survive.

Steven's mission in Tucson is to buy Marissa's ranch and make good on his bet to seduce her while he's there. Instead, a time travel portal whisks them 140 years in the past. They're faced with assorted Wild West horrors, from saloon gunfights to corrupt lawmen.

As Marissa and Steven are forced to work together in secret to overcome continued obstacles, they begin to see each other's strengths and understand what made them how they are. But will it be enough to save them?
