BEYOND THE TEN COMMANDMENTS

Most everyone knows about the Ten Commandments, However, those who have not read the Bible are unaware, that there were many other rules and laws set forth beyond the Ten Commandments. By today’s standards some of these rules would be extremely harsh. Many of these laws required that the offender be put to death. For example if you cursed at your parents you could be put to death. That may seem to be a pretty harsh penalty for such a minor infraction. But in biblical times it was horrendous thing to do. This short book uses excerpts from the Bible to explain how these rules and laws came about. The book of Exodus covers everything the children of Israel faced on their Exodus from Egypt to the land of milk and honey. Hopefully by reading this book it will encourage you to go to your Bible and read the whole thing for yourself.
