BETRAYAL!

Congressman Andy Biggs says Speaker Kevin McCarthy undermined the entire Republican agenda in Congress. It rips the Conference apart and makes it ungovernable now. It also makes McCarthy more reliant on Democrats. It gives lobbyists the power they were trying to minimize and probably ends GOP chances to take the House, Senate and White House in 2024. Biggs says this bill is preserving the Biden agenda. It cements the progress of the Leftist Progressive agenda. It will pass the House and Senate because all Democrats will vote for it and then it goes to the President’s desk to sign. Then what happens to McCarthy’s Speakership? There are rumblings of the motion to vacate and it would be appropriate. But the worst outcome would be if Democrats vote to keep him. They’d vote to keep him because there’s no need to replace him. Biggs believes McCarthy will now be empowered and emboldened to cross over to the Dems more often.
