Utterly Addictive?? Utterly absurd!

I cannot believe I wasted so many brain cells on Book 1 of this series!! it was ridiculously rambling and repetitive and juvenile but I thought well. I’ll just keep going. But the last five or six pages turned the entire thing into just a farce!! The best thing about the book was the Virtual Voice narration!! Need I say more?? I certainly won’t be reading the remaining two “offerings.”

AI reading is awful. it's too robotic

I stopped listening to this series because I can't stand the AI generated reader. They tried to program it like a person would read but it's still kind of monotone. I can't get through this first book. it boring without the correct inflection in speech.

Enjoyable prose

Very sweet stories and they stay true to the era they are set in. No modern mistake to take you out of the story line.
