SUMMARY
By Gichunge WA M’Thirua and Joel Kirema M'Ringera
Ameru of Kenya are a community that lived in Egypt for centuries to become the Pyramids builders after they had crossed the Red Sea on being disturbed by other races that lived in the Middle East where God had created them.
In Egypt, the rulers of the country demanded impossible tasks from Ameru because they were expert builders. Ameru decided to escape instead of surrendering their expertise. Their escape landed them in Mboa (Manda Island) in Kenya around AD 1050.
Ameru lived in Mboa up to about AD 1650 when they escaped from Manda Island Kenya to evade the long arm of the Portuguese Slave Traders who hunted them as Slaves from AD 1500 to the day of their departure from the Island in around AD 1650. In Manda Island, they had forgotten many of their traditions. On their way to Meru, they gathered courage in the wilderness to revive their long forgotten traditions. Among those traditions was circumcision and formation of various clans and Gichiaro that prohibited marriage between some clans.
This book with its series explains how and when Ameru formed and created clans and Gichiaro as tools for peace maintenance in the community.
Many young people in the generations past, have inquired about the origins of Ameru clans, Gichiaro. and age groups without appropriate answers. This book therefore, in its series gives answers to the questions that have remained unanswered. The first book in the series is Clans of Ameru from Mboa (Clans of Ameru on their way from Mboa) and the second is Beliefs of Clans and Gichiaro in Meru Kenya (that gives more details of clans, Gichiaro and age groups after Ameru settled in Meru).
The book is a breakthrough to anyone who values historical details and facts. Welcome!
