company a day, a resupply drop that saves them and gives away their position to the meter, and a
North Vietnamese colonel who buys the ground a meter a night with saps and trenches because he has
all the time in the world and they have none.

Three days out, a hundred and eight men are marching to reach them through country that kills
without help.

They will arrive. They will not be enough.
