Inspired by 1 Chronicles 12:32, Rev. Steven R. Martins calls men of the church to be like the Men of Issachar—men marked not merely by strength, but by wisdom, who understood the times and knew what God’s people ought to do. He argues that such discernment is urgently needed today through the recovery of a distinctly biblical worldview, one that sees all of life under the Lordship of Christ and equips believers to think faithfully, build courageously, and labor generationally for the good of church and culture.
