Inquest examines Curtis Cheng shooting a decade later

An inquest has begun into the 2015 shooting death of police accountant Curtis Cheng outside Parramatta Police Headquarters by 15-year-old Farhad Jabar. The coroner is examining what authorities knew about the teenage gunman prior to the attack, including his contact with a group planning a terrorist attack in Sydney just three weeks before the shooting. Four members of that group are currently serving jail sentences of between 13 and 44 years.
