The unicorn Astebery, emissary of the Maker, has a special gift to bestow on her chosen champion.

Estellyn doesn’t understand why she would be chosen. She thinks she’s just a farmer’s daughter with a penchant for exploring. Prince Jeremian wants to be a champion to save his brother.
