Dr. Adi Jaffe, Ph.D., best-selling author of “Unhooked”, founder of IGNTD Recovery, and a world-renowned expert on mental health, addiction, relationships, and shame again joins eHealth Radio and the Addiction Prevention and Mental Health Channels.

Listen to interview with host Eric Michaels & guest Dr. Adi Jaffe discuss the following:

  1. What are some biohacking practices that are more harmful than helpful, especially for your mental health?
  2. Why is perfectionism and control drive compulsive health behaviors - and how do we recognize when “optimization” crosses into obsession?
  3. How does elitism of extreme biohacking fuel shame and anxiety among those just trying to live healthier?
  4. What is the false (or at least completely unproven) promise that drives biohacking marketing?
  5. What are simple, sustainable steps to improve health without compromising our well-being?

Tip: Changing your behavior is NOT really about stopping that behavior at all; it's about uncovering, relieving, and redirecting the pressure that is causing it in the first place!

Adi Jaffe, Ph.D. is the author of “Unhooked” and is a world-renowned expert on mental health, addiction, relationships, and shame. The founder of IGNTD Recovery, a Smart Personalized Adaptive Recovery System, Dr. Jaffe was a lecturer in the Psychology department at UCLA for the better part of a decade and was the Executive Director and Co-Founder of one of the most progressive addiction treatment facilities in the country.
