Pete Hegseth strongly criticized what he called the “legacy” or “Trump‑hating” media during a Pentagon briefing, accusing major news outlets of allowing political bias to distort their reporting on U.S. military operations. President Donald Trump announced today that Israel and Lebanon have agreed to a temporary 10‑day ceasefire, set to begin at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. In conjunction with the ceasefire, President Trump confirmed that both Israeli and Lebanese leaders have been invited to the White House for peace talks.
