Think of money as a friend. If you invite a friend over and have delicious snacks, a fun environment, and provide good conversation, they will want to come back. But if you demand they come with gifts, they will likely stay away.

Money is like a friend you need to nurture and cultivate. Just as people are drawn to individuals who are warm and generous, money tends to follow those who create value consistently. Money becomes your friend when you attract it with your talent and contribution, not neediness or craving.

• Build Bonds, Not Transactions

Every exchange carries emotional weight. Business interactions are not only financial. They are relational.

You may slightly overpay a merchant or vendor to create bonds of cheery affinity. Think of the overpay as helping them—perhaps with their child’s college education or their elderly parents’ medical bills. Chances are, they will return the favor by offering you a discount in the next transaction. Even if they don’t, you have created a loving energy space for money to come back to you, perhaps through another person who also projects a LME generous spirit.

• Stay Generous, Stay Disciplined

Generosity does not mean passivity. It requires awareness and strength. There will be individuals who attempt to take advantage of your goodwill. Recognizing this does not require anger or withdrawal. It needs clarity.

When you maintain both generosity and firmness, your decisions become balanced. You can give where there is mutual respect and withdraw when there is manipulation. This preserves your LME and keeps your relationships aligned with your values. Over time, this approach filters out unstable connections and strengthens those built on trust and loving reciprocity.
