Volunteer Waupaca is organizing a Day of Service on Saturday, May 16th. The event offers a range of service opportunities for community members to assist local organizations and causes. Organizers say the first 150 registered participants will receive a free event t‑shirt. Those wanting to participate are encouraged to register now. You may do so at volunteerfoxcities.org/signusup.

A reminder for City of Waupaca residents that citywide leaf and brush pickup continues through the month of April. Leaves should be placed in clear bags, tied securely, and kept under thirty‑five pounds. Branches and brush must be bundled with twine, not wire, and cannot exceed five feet in length or three inches in diameter. Materials must be placed on the terrace, not in the street. Items outside these guidelines will not be collected.

Lasty, Waupaca Parks and Recreation reminds everyone there is still time to register for spring and summer programs. Men’s softball registration is available now along with many other youth and adult sports, activities and programs. See what’s available and register online at Waupaca Rec dot com.
