On this Make A Difference Minute, after receiving an ABBY Award from the Alabama Broadcasters Association last night, and dedicating it to my friend Danny Johnson, I wanted to share some of my conversation with Danny from February 2020. After battling dementia and Alzheimer’s for over 13 years, Danny’s message still rings true. A visit, a phone call, a simple act of showing up can lift someone more than we realize.
