The story is about a young athlete who, with the help of 'Substitute', starts a new life and gets a second chance.

The passionate soccer player Stephan suffers in a serious motorcycle accident. To save his life, he is transformed into a replacement body, finds himself in a female body and becomes Stephanie.

He cannot share the enthusiasm of the doctors who saved his life with innovative technology. His girlfriend finds her partner's new self unbearable and has stopped playing soccer for now.

And not only that - his whole life is turned upside down.

Until the question arises as to where all the bodies that 'substitutes' offer in their system come from. Stephanie persists and looks for answers. Jürgen, an employee working for the innovative company that developed the technology for replacement bodies and transferring them into another body, becomes a true ally and more than just a good friend.
