In this episode, I sit down with Luke Mickelson, founder of Sleep in Heavenly Peace, to talk about a problem most people don’t even realize exists, child bedlessness. What started as a simple act of service in his community turned into a nationwide movement focused on making sure no kid has to sleep on the floor.

We get into the real impact of not having a bed, physically and emotionally, and how something so basic can affect a child’s development, behavior, and sense of dignity. Luke breaks down how he built and scaled a nonprofit from the ground up, the role community plays in solving real problems, and why awareness at the local level is often the missing piece when it comes to meaningful change.
