RAYS POSTCAST: The Tampa Bay Rays HANG ON for a BIG win vs the New York Yankees

The Tampa Bay Rays take down the New York Yankees 5-3. It was a disastrous start for the Rays. A first inning error led to the first run for the Yankees, then a misplayed ball in the outfield gave the Yankees a 2-0 lead. Rays pitching would then keep Yankee hitters hitless until the 8th inning. Yandy Diaz wasted no time tying the game in the bottom of the first. He belted a 2 run homer to tie the game. The Rays would then take the lead in the 2nd inning on a RBI fielders choice by Chandler Simpson. Simpson then gave the Rays some insurance in the 6th inning with a RBI single. Jonathan Aranda then got another run home to make it 5-2. A solo homer from the Yankees in the 8th would make it 5-3. But Bryan Baker would hold it down in the 9th to pick up the win. The Rays will look to take the series tomorrow night vs the Yankees.
