You can't spot a deepfake anymore

Seven fingers? Extra teeth? Those tells are gone. New research from UC Berkeley confirms we've crossed what they call the "Indistinguishable Threshold," the point where AI-generated faces have become so realistic that people perform no better than a coin flip when trying to distinguish them from real photos.
