Luke 12:1-21

• Jesus warns disciples against the leaven of Pharisaic hypocrisy, urges fearless confession of him, and assures God's care even for sparrows while promising the Holy Spirit's help.
• He refuses to arbitrate an inheritance dispute and tells the parable of the rich fool who stores up earthly wealth but is not rich toward God when his life is demanded that night.
