Paranormal Campfire Chat | Basswood Pond - Bigfoot, Skeptics, Strange Sounds, & Conspiracy Theories

It's time for another paranormal campfire chat! This trip, Josh and I camped at Basswood Pond State Forest in Otsego County, New York. Part of the Mohawk Valley region of New York State, Basswood Pond is a small, man-made body of water in a secluded park. While not as wild or remote as some of our past trips to the Adirondacks, we were still pretty isolated from the dreaded civilization. While there have been Bigfoot sightings in Otsego County, we start this episode off by discussing some alleged Bigfoot howls that were recorded around the pond in 1976. And as with all of our campfire chats, we end up discussing a whole range of topics: out-of-place animals, spooky sounds in the woods, atheism and how it's tied to paranormal skepticism, the current Patterson-Gimlin film controversy, conspiracy theories, and much more!
