Attack in Paradise: Maui Doc Testifies Self-Defense, Bloodied Pics of Wife Tell Different Story

An anesthesiologist on trial for attempted murder took the stand in his own defense Thursday. Dr. Gerhardt Konig is accused of trying to push his wife off a cliff and then repeatedly hitting her head with a rock until bystanders intervened. Both Konig’s wife and son testified against him at trial, but Thursday jurors got to hear Konig’s side of the story.
