Beth Watter grew up in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri. She moved to Illinois at sixteen to live with her father. After graduating High School, she married her high school sweetheart, Klaus. Their third son, Nik was born with a heart defect, After heart surgery, complications caused him to have Cerebral Palsy. After helping him to get through school and become an Eagle Scout. Beth decided to take writing classes from the East Coast. After being a Boy Scout Leader and working with boys with disabilities, she decided to write books to encourage families and kids to dream big and be courageous.
