Psalm 37:7 — Jesus, Teach Me to Be Still and Release Control as This Day Comes to a Close Live from London, England São Paulo • Vancouver • Accra • Manila • Seville letting go prayer • evening stillness • release stress • trusting God • end of day prayer Psalm 37:7 (NIV): “Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him.” Exodus 14:14 (NIV): “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Jesus, as this day is coming to a close, I release it fully. I do not carry this into the night. There have been moments of pressure, effort, and responsibility—but I place them down now. I do not hold onto what You are asking me to release. So I become still. Your Word calls me to be still before You—to stop striving, to stop holding, to stop trying to resolve everything in my own strength. You are working. You are moving. You are fighting for me. So I step back. Jesus, teach me to trust without tension. Where I feel the need to control, help me release it. Where I feel unsettled, bring calm. Where I feel the urge to carry things forward, help me let them go. I do not need to carry this any further. I settle into stillness. I rest in Your presence. I release control and trust You completely. Jesús, enséñame a estar en silencio y a confiar en Ti mientras dejo ir este día. Jesus, ensina-me a estar em silêncio e a confiar em Ti enquanto deixo este dia ir. From São Paulo to Manila, from Vancouver to Seville, across every place entering this evening, You are present. You are calming. You are restoring. So I release everything. I become still. I rest in You. In Your name, Jesus, I am at peace.
