A deeply troubling story out of Chicago: a young girl was shot and killed after midnight by an illegal migrant from Venezuela, sparking outrage over immigration enforcement failures. The response has been divided; some schools are defending the suspect, while others are not. Meanwhile, The Washington Post continues its steep decline, with Amazon founder Jeff Bezos stepping in to try to fix the chaos.
