For their 25th wedding anniversary, William and Betty Gates have spent the day quietly together in their modest little home in Cleveland. It's after supper now and they've just settled down on the living room couch. William says "Betty, honey, it's been a mighty nice day, hasn't it?" Betty says "It sure has". William says "You know, we got a lot to be thankful for". Betty says "Indeed we have". William says "A comfortable home, our feelings for each other, and the work Walt has been giving me keeps us going along good". Suddenly, the doorbell rings. Betty says "Now who do you suppose that is?" William says "Well, I better go see". William opens the door, and the visitor says "I beg your pardon, sir, but how does it feel to be married 25 years?" William says "Walter!" They have a good laugh, and Walter says "Bill, you didn't think that Patsy and I have forgotten what day this is?" William says "Say, we are mighty glad you dropped in. Come in, come in. Betty, we got company, good company, it's Walter and the missus. Betty says "Well, hello there!" Patsy says "Congratulations, Mrs. Gates!" She says "Thank you, honey". Walter says "Well, here's a little package for you both". Betty says "Oh, Mr. Carter ...." Patsy says "That's nothing, Mrs. Gates. Walter's got a real surprise for you". Betty says "You mean there's something more?" Walter says "Bill, how would you and Betty like to have a day at Niagara Falls?" Bill says "What?" Betty says "Niagara Falls!" Walter says "That's right. We got a compartment for you both on the train to Buffalo tonight, and it's just a little short run from there to the Falls and you can come back the next day". William says "But, would we have to go tonight, Walter?" Walter says "Yeah, you would". William asks "Why?" Walter says "Because there'll be a man getting on in the compartment next to yours, heading for New York with a satchel full of bonds worth 50,000 dollars". William asks "And you want us to steal them?" Walter says "That's right". William says "Well, for heaven's sake, Walter, why didn't you say that in the first place? Just think, Betty, at last we're going to see Niagara Falls!"
