Tourism Department proposes code of conduct for home-sharing rentals

Tourism Minister Patricia de Lille has invited public comment on a Draft Code of Good Practice for short-term rentals. Speaking to Lester Kiewit on Good Morning Cape Town, she said the guidelines aim to guide operators and platforms such as Airbnb as the sector continues to grow, while government reviews the Tourism Act 3 of 2014 to address policy gaps. The public now has 60 days to submit
