Loving God,

You know the moments

when the darkness around us feels overwhelming

and our strength begins to wane.

You see the burdens we carry,

the injustices we witness,

and the questions that weigh on our hearts.

Remind us that the darkness

is never the final word.

Draw us back to your light

that still shines through your love

and still lives within us.

Renew our courage

when we feel discouraged.

And as your light lives within us,

help us bring compassion, hope,

and courage

into the world around us.
