Tour de Cure's epic 1400km ride for cancer research

Tour de Cure's 20th anniversary ride features more than 200 cyclists undertaking a nine-day, 1,400km journey from Canberra through Victoria to Tasmania to raise funds for cancer research. The riders departed Canberra and reached Jindabyne on day one, battling headwinds over the 180km route. Simplicity Funerals contributed $20,000 to the cause, with the route continuing through the Snowy Mountains and Thredbo before reaching Corryong, where Commonwealth Bank and Rotary are hosting a community barbecue.
