AFL overhauls illicit drug policy with hair testing

The AFL is implementing a major overhaul of its illicit drug policy, replacing the current urine testing model with hair testing and removing the three-strike system. AFLW players will be included in drug testing for the first time under the new policy. The changes are still being finalised between the AFL and the league's Players Association.
