Orlando Magic make MAJOR change with Jonathan Isaac | Magic control OWN DESTINY for 5-seed?

A shocking decision from the Orlando Magic and Jonathan Isaac leaked out on Sunday. The Magic and Isaac amended the trigger for his guarantee clause to June 28 rather than 52 games played.

That certainly signals the Magic are planning to move on from Isaac this offseason in a ruthless effort to shed a major salary from their cap sheet. The realities of being in the tax and the first apron are hitting this team early.

Despite the decision, Isaac still has a big role to play for the Magic this season and in their playoff chase. He can still be a dominant defender and the Magic will need that to be the best version they can be.

Because, after a big weekend of wins, the Magic control their own destiny for the 5-seed with some major games coming up this week to begin separating them from the pack.
