Abiding Connection: I Am Plugged In! "Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me." John 15:4 In a world buzzing with distractions, finding moments of silence can be as rare as finding a long-lost treasure. Just like a smartphone that thrives when it never leaves the charger, our spirits flourish when we stay intimately connected with God. He invites us to abide in Him, nurturing our souls as we seek His presence each day. As you reflect on your routine, consider scheduling a dedicated silence slot — this is where our connection can deepen and grow. Think of Mary sitting at Jesus' feet in Luke 10. She chose the good portion, prioritizing her relationship with Him above all else. This simple act of devotion serves as a beautiful reminder that, in prioritizing our time with God, we can find clarity and peace. Remember, "When you turn your face to God, you find He was already facing you. Closeness begins with the first honest glance." And that's what we called 'sacred intimate space of connection.' James 4:8 says, "Come near to God, and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded." As we cultivate this abiding presence, remember, "Need is the door; nearness is the key." Psalm 27:4 says, "One thing I ask of the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life." Picture this sacred pursuit as more than just a duty; it's a joyous invitation to experience the fullness of His love. Lyndon B Johnsonwisely said, “You become like the one you behold.” When we focus on Christ, our hearts transform, reflecting His grace and light. Henri Nouwen once stated that "Intimacy with God is the source of all fruitfulness." Just as a vine thrives when it remains rooted in the soil, our lives will bear much fruit through our unwavering connection with the Divine. Remember, "When your soul is logged into Christ, even your silence has a strong signal and ordinary hours into radiant purpose." So, keep your soul in His presence. Amen. Jeremiah 29:13 says, "You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart." Amen. Prayer for the Day!Heavenly Father, thank you for the Vine of life, where the branch remains connected. Lord, grant me unbroken fellowship and sensitivity to Your Spirit. Help me to remain plugged into You, drawing strength, wisdom, and joy from Your presence. May I cultivate a space of stillness and connection, bearing witness to Your greatness in every facet of my life. In Jesus name. Amen. https://maglife.org
