ברוב השנים חל ז' אדר בסמיכות לפ' תצוה. "ואתה תצוה" קאי על משה רבינו, ו"תצוה" הוא מלשון צוותא וחיבור. כלומר, להתקשר ולהתחבר עם משה. שזהו ע"י לימוד התורה, שעל ידו מתייחד האדם עם שכל התורה, "תורת משה", ובמילא עם משה. ומובן, שכאשר לומד תורה ביחד עם משה – ניתוסף בהבנה והשגה בתורה שלא בערך. ובזה ניתוסף עוד כאשר לומד תורה עם משה באופן שכתוב ב"תורת משה" עצמה – ש"כל האומר שמועה משם אומרה יהא רואה לעצמו כאילו בעל השמועה עומד כנגדו"!; יש להשתדל "להכניס" גם הזולת בלימוד התורה, ואף ה"פשוט שבפשוטים". ואדרבה – בנוגע ל"תורת משה", תורה שבכתב, השייכות לזה של ה"פשוט שבפשוטים" ש"לא ידע מאי קאמר" הוא בדיוק כמו של משה, וגם הוא חייב לברך ברכת התורה על פסוקים אלו שלומד או (עכ"פ) שומע! ומי שמנסה "לתרץ" את עצמו שצריכים תחילה ללמד את ה"פשוט שבפשוטים" אל"ף בי"ת – הרי זהו האל"ף-בי"ת שלו!

Synopsis

7 Adar usually falls in proximity to parashas Ve’atah Tetzaveh, “You shall command” – a verse that addresses Moshe Rabbeinu, and connotes a connection and bond (tzavsa vechibur) with Moshe. This connection is achieved through Torah study, which unites a person with the intellect of Torah –Toras Moshe – and therefore with Moshe himself. It is understood that when one learns Torah together with Moshe, his comprehension and grasp of Torah are elevated beyond all measure, and this is heightened even more when one learns Torah in the manner described in Torah itself: “Whoever repeats a teaching in the name of the one who said it should view himself as if the one who said it is standing before him.” One must also make an effort to bring others into Torah learning, including the simplest Jews. And in fact, when it comes to the Written Torah (Toras Moshe), the connection of even the simplest Jew (who “does not know what he is saying”) is exactly the same as Moshe’s; he too is obligated to recite the blessing over the Torah on the verses that he learns or (at least) hears. And someone who tries to excuse himself by saying that he must first teach this simple person the alef-beis – the truth is that this is his alef-beis.
