Daily Devotions: God's Guidance - February 21, 2026

Psalm 25:8–13 (NLT) “The LORD is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way. The LORD leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep his covenant and obey his demands. For the honor of your name, O LORD, forgive my many, many sins. Who are those who fear the LORD? He will show them the path they should choose. They will live in prosperity, and their children will inherit the land.” This passage shows how closely God’s guidance and provision are connected. The Lord does not abandon people when they go the wrong way. Instead, He shows the proper path. This is grace at work. When a person is willing to admit they are drifting, God steps in with direction. The psalm also teaches that humility matters. God leads the humble in doing right and teaches them His way. Guidance is not just about knowing where to go, but about learning how to live rightly. Those who respect the Lord are promised clarity in decision-making. “He will show them the path they should choose.” The result of this guidance is stated plainly. “They will live in prosperity, and their children will inherit the land.” Prosperity does not look the same in every season or every life. It can look different at different stages, but it always reflects God’s care, provision, and purpose.
