We often go through life guided by the beliefs and doctrines we have picked up along the way. These often come from our experiences, culture or circumstances, and they quietly shape what we see as good (truth) and bad (falsehood). However, some of these familiar doctrines can contradict God’s truth and affect the direction of our lives. What, then, are these doctrines, and how do they influence our experiences?
In this series, Pastor Jeffrey Walter uncovers the false belief systems that usher us into cyclical miseries and the wrong approaches that end up compounding those miseries. He admonishes us to put away our familiar false doctrines and flawed belief systems, demonstrating how, through spiritual focus and maintaining a heart of gratitude, we develop a new belief system to achieve divine manifestations in our lives.
In this episode, “Doing Away with the Familiar Doctrine,” Pastor Jeffrey Walter explains what doctrine is and why it matters. He gives practical examples of some of the doctrines we may be living by and how they shape our reality and future. He encourages us to examine the doctrines we live by, to unlearn, learn, and relearn using God’s doctrine (the true doctrine). By pointing to God’s doctrine of truth, he explains how a new doctrine leads to a new belief system and, in turn, a new experience in life.
This message will encourage you to reflect on the doctrines you live by, let go of what limits you, and embrace God’s truth for a renewed mindset and better outcomes.
