Oakland's Alysa Liu wins gold, becoming the first American woman to win in 24 years

Oakland's Alysa Liu is bringing GOLD back to the Bay. The figure skater secured the medal earlier this afternoon in Milan. An animal advocacy group says they feel they have no choice but to sue the city of San Jose over conditions in its animal shelter. Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders made a campaign stop in Southern California last night to rally support for a billionaire's tax in the state.
