Multiple Bigfoot Tracking Us Near the River | Illinois Sasquatch Encounters

In this episode of Sasquatch Theory, I sit down with Jesse from Hillsborough, Illinois, who shares a series of disturbing encounters that began around 2012 near Springfield, Illinois and continued throughout his life. Jesse recounts a night fishing with a friend when they heard a loud, unnatural vocalization coming from the woods — something far deeper and more powerful than any known animal. Moments later, the forest erupted with movement. Whatever was there moved fast, heavy, and with purpose.

When Jesse shined his light into the darkness, he saw massive glowing eyes staring directly back at him. The creature began moving uphill, snapping branches both low to the ground and high above — nearly 8 feet in the air — demonstrating immense size and strength. As it moved through water, it made a distinct “whooshing” sound, unlike anything Jesse had ever heard. The encounter escalated into intelligent interaction.

Heavy wood knocks echoed back whenever Jesse or his friend moved. At one point, a rock was thrown with force and struck Jesse, confirming the presence was not merely observing. Jesse believes there were at least three creatures working together, tracking movement and responding deliberately. In another encounter, he describes seeing a creature with a conical-shaped head, reinforcing his belief that these beings were Sasquatch. One of the most terrifying moments occurred while Jesse was sleeping outdoors — when something grabbed him by the leg and pulled him, using long, thin fingers.

Jesse discusses whether this could have been a Bigfoot or possibly a Dogman, as Dogman sightings have been reported in the same area. Adding to the credibility, Jesse shares that his father and uncle also experienced Bigfoot activity in the 1960s, suggesting a long-term presence in the region. He also notes a disturbing pattern of dogs regularly going missing in the area. Jesse came forward on Sasquatch Theory to raise awareness and help keep others safe. These encounters are not myths — they are lived experiences that deserve to be taken seriously.
