Two calls less than an hour apart for children experiencing falls at school came in yesterday, one at 10.49am and another one at 11.56. The first one was at Lincoln Elementary, reportedly a 9 year old fell and had a positive loss of consciousness. The second call was at Geil Elementary for an 8 year old female who hit her head and also had a possible loss of consciousness and Scanners traffic did indicate that she was transported to regional west.
Just before noon, troopers were preparing for a cattle crossing on L62A. If you remember, some time ago there was a tragic accident that killed a couple on 385 and a young delivery driver came over the hill, ramming into the couple killing them. Remember to us caution at all times whenever you see emergency vehicles at a cattle crossing or any livestock or wildlife on the roads.
We hear a lot of different license plates come across the scanner, once in a while we'll hear ones from other countries and in this case, Trooper 321 had a vehicle from Saskatchewan stopped at 8.30pm and issued a warning for a moving traffic violation.
At 9:12 pm, Trooper 235 was checking on a female out of Colorado for a 10-60 or driving under suspension possibility. Further scanner traffic indicated she was given a warning.
