Americans want proof of ID to vote. It's a majority decision. Democrats can't risk election integrity measures becoming law before the midterms in November because it's their only chance to retake the House, blow up the filibuster and jam through either impeaching Trump for a third time or completely dismantling all the work the Trump administration has done.. or both.
