702 Choosing a King, Not a Side

Tuesday, February 10th: In Episode 702, we slow down and confront the growing pressure on Christians to declare political loyalty in an increasingly polarized world. Rather than asking listeners to disengage, this episode challenges them to examine allegiance. Politics can offer identity, belonging, and purpose—but Jesus offers a Kingdom. Drawing from Jesus’ words before Pilate and the broader witness of Scripture, this episode reminds us that faithfulness is not found in choosing a camp, defending a tribe, or borrowing outrage. It is found in submitting our consciences, convictions, and hopes to the lordship of Christ alone. The gospel does not declare a platform—it declares a throne.
