Patience and Perseverance

This homily reminds us that both sin and grace begin in small ways. Little choices can slowly lead us away from God, just as small acts of faith can grow into holiness. Through the story of King David, Jesus’ parable of the growing seed, and the patient life of Sister Lucia of Fatima, we are reminded that God’s Kingdom often grows quietly and slowly. Even when we feel nothing is happening, perseverance in prayer, the sacraments, and daily faithfulness allows God’s grace to take root and bear fruit in His time.
