A Queensland coroner's initial report into the death of 19-year-old Canadian backpacker Piper James on K'gari (Fraser Island) has returned an inconclusive result. The report found water in her lungs and dingo bite marks that likely occurred after death, with no evidence of another person's involvement. Further pathology tests are expected in the coming weeks, and Piper's body has been released to return to Canada.
