NSW’s first female governor Dame Marie Bashir dies aged 95

New South Wales is mourning the loss of a giant in medicine and public life. Dame Marie Bashir, our first female governor, has died at the age of 95. There have been tributes from across the country, with a state funeral to be held in her honour.
