Man arrested with crossbow at Adelaide station

A 24-year-old man from Elizabeth Vale was arrested at Adelaide railway station after passengers reported seeing a crossbow concealed in a suitcase on a train. South Australian police, who have been conducting heightened weapon searches at the station as part of a public precinct declaration, charged the man with possession of a prohibited weapon. He was granted bail, banned from using trains for three months, and will appear in court in March.
