Young graduates with hearing loss ready for school

The Shepherd Centre in Wollongong has graduated a group of four and five-year-old children with hearing loss who are now ready to start school. Through therapy disguised as play, these young learners have developed speech and language skills equivalent to their hearing peers. Parents who initially faced uncertainty after their children's hearing loss diagnosis now celebrate their children's ability to hold full conversations and transition confidently into mainstream education.
