I met German Utria in the 5th grade in 1983 or so. Our friendship was forged on music, movies, food, and more. I also based the Gerry character in my films 1985-1986 and Cool Summer on this person who made (and continues to make) an indelible impact on me.In this final part of our interview done in 2024, we talk about how our friendship has endured over the decades and reconnecting with old friends.These videos are part of an ongoing video series chronicling the hardcore punk music scene.
