But after I uploaded that episode, Paramount Skydance suddenly announced a hostile takeover of Warner Bros, which WBD rejected. Paramount Skydance wants to acquire Warner Bros Discovery mainly to get CNN. In this Commentary Companions podcast episode, I ask the question, what if Paramount offered to trade the rights to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise to Warner Bros Discovery in exchange for CNN?
