Bondi terror attack hero flies to US for treatment

Ahmed Al Ahmed, the 43-year-old father of two who tackled and disarmed one of the gunmen during the Bondi terror attack that killed 15 people, has departed Australia for the United States to receive further medical treatment. He was shot during the confrontation and posted from Los Angeles airport thanking supporters and requesting prayers, appearing in good spirits with cabin crew.
