The Bay Area’s brief cold snap is poised to give way to another string of wet weather set to soak the region into the new year. Holiday shopping in Walnut Creek may have come with an unwanted gift this year possible exposure to measles. Saturday’s game between the Niners and the Seattle Seahawks is expected to be packed with road closures and detours around Levi’s Stadium. In celebration of some of Kwanzaa's principles such as unity and economic cooperation local leaders in Alameda County hosted a "listening session" to hear from African Americans about crafting a possible plan for reparations. For the third year in a row hundreds of brave souls will jump into the pacific ocean on the morning of New Year’s Day.
