Wet weather into the new year, unwanted surprise while shopping and more

The Bay Area’s brief cold snap is poised to give way to another string of wet weather set to soak the region into the new year. Holiday shopping in Walnut Creek may have come with an unwanted gift this year possible exposure to measles. Many spending categories have been hit hard by inflation...including housing, utilities, taxes and health care.
