American soldiers killed in Syria attack

Two American soldiers and a civilian interpreter were killed in central Syria by a lone Islamic State gunman, with three other service members wounded in the attack. The gunman was reportedly killed shortly after the incident. No group has officially claimed responsibility for the attack.
