Man escapes police custody in Adelaide

A 36-year-old man escaped from police custody in Adelaide after being arrested in Glenelg North on charges including assaulting an emergency worker, carrying an illegal weapon and resisting police. The man fled while being transferred from hospital back to the police station, prompting an active search led by Paul Eyre and the dog squad.
